By 2030, more than half of all young people globally will not be on track to have the most basic skills for employment. The Global Business Coalition for Education is working to help close that skills gap through the Skills Friendly Cities Initiative, a project that helps spur collaboration between community leaders and non-profit organizations, education institutions, businesses, and youth to increase skills attainment and economic opportunities for young people across the United States.

The Utilizing Community Partnerships to Create a Skills Friendly City forum will not only provide more information about how to apply for the challenge but will demonstrate how community partnerships are working to increase the educational and skills attainment of young people today.
