Natural Disaster Causes Chaos in Mexico: Massive Flooding in Aguascalientes Due to Storms.

On 16 August 2025, heavy rains from a powerful storm caused massive flooding in Aguascalientes, Mexico, turning streets into rivers, cars washed away, trees and streetlights uprooted. In Solidaridad II, stalls and merchandise along with two street vendors were swept away by the flood, suffering bruises.

Major roads such as Aguascalientes Poniente, José Maria Chávez, and La Villa Charra were closed due to flooding. Further north in Jesús María, the community of Margaritas saw public transport cars and trucks stranded along Federal Highway 45.
