My Brother's Keeper Model Community: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Tulsa, Oklahoma was named one of four My Brother's Keeper Model Communities, a new initiative that seeks to expand the implementation of evidence-based practices and impact for communities across the country. Tulsa was recognized for their demonstrated impact in MBK Milestone One: Entering School Ready to Learn, having achieved free, universal, and full day pre-Kindergarten programs in all of its elementary public schools.

"We have worked so hard at ensuring that boys and young men of color in this city have the opportunity to have early access to pre-K enrollment, and to be able to share our learnings with other communities", shared MBK Tulsa Director BerThaddeus Bailey.
