Sietze de Vries enjoys the reed stops on the Großen Kirche organ, Leer, Ostfriesland

Описание к видео Sietze de Vries enjoys the reed stops on the Großen Kirche organ, Leer, Ostfriesland

Originally built in the 1760s by Albertus Anthoni Hinsz the organ in the Großen Kirche, Leer (in Ostfriesland) was extensively remodelled during both the 19th and 20th centuries. Between 2014 and 2018 it was further remodelled by Hendrik Ahrend. It has two independent Rückpositiv divisions (left and right), Hauptwerk , Oberwerk, and Pedal and a total of 48 stops. It is an extremely colourful instrument as shown here by Sietze de Vries's response to my request for a demonstration of the reed stops.
