Just as the new #yamaha #R7 hits the UK dealerships, BikeSocial's Michael Mann took the new bike for a spin on track in a UK exclusive by pitching it against its inspiration, the YZF-R6.

Two less cylinders and 44 less bhp but a £3799 lower price tag. Can it match the now track-only R6 on lap time and just how dynamic is that new chassis of the R7 in the twisty bits?
