বোলান গান বা বোলান হল প্রধানত পশ্চিমবঙ্গের লোকগান তথা বাংলার এক প্রাচীন লোকগান। বোলান গান বাংলার লোকস্কৃতির একট অনন্য অবদান।
এক সময় বীরভূম, নদিয়া, বর্ধমান, মুর্শিদাবাদের বিস্তীর্ণ এলাকায় বোলান গান প্রচলিত ছিল।বোলান গান শিবের গাজন উপলক্ষে গেয় একপ্রকার আঞ্চলিক লোকগীতি। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের নদীয়া, বীরভূম ও মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলায় এ গানের প্রচলন বেশি।
নৃত্য-গীত-অভিনয় সমন্বয়ে এ গান পরিবেশিত হয়।
বোলান গানের দল গঠিত হয় গায়ক-বাদকদের সমন্বয়ে। একজন ওস্তাদ দলের নেতৃত্ব দেয়। অল্প বয়সের কিশোর নটিবেশে নর্তকী ও গায়িকার ভূমিকা পালন করে।
বোলান গান বাঁধা হয় পালার আকারে। এর মুখ্য বিষয় পৌরাণিক কাহিনী। তবে সামাজিক বিষয় ও সমসাময়িক ঘটনা নিয়েও গান রচনা করা হয়।
বন্দনাগীতির মাধ্যমে বোলান গান শুরু হয় এবং পরে পাঁচালির ঢঙে মূল পালা গীত হয়।

Bolan song or Bolan is mainly a folk song of West Bengal and an ancient folk song of Bengal. Bolan song is a unique contribution of Bengali folklore.
Once upon a time, Bolan song was popular in the vast areas of Birbhum, Nadia, Burdwan, Murshidabad. Bolan song is a regional folk song sung on the occasion of Lord Shiva's Gajan. This song is popular in Nadia, Birbhum and Murshidabad districts of West Bengal.
This song is performed in combination of dance-song-act.
The Bolan song group consists of singers and musicians. A master leads the group. A young teenager plays the role of dancer and singer in nativeshe.
Bolan songs are tied in the form of turns. Its main theme is mythology. But songs are also written about social issues and contemporary events.

The bolan song begins with the bandana geet followed by the main pala song in the panchali style.
After the song, some theories are expressed through dialogues and quotations and at the end there is Rangpanchali of Laghu Ras. Dances and songs are also organized in this part to entertain the audience.
