The controversy sparked by Home minister Amit Shah’s statement seeking national language status for Hindi does not seek to be away any time soon. Tamil Nadu has witnessed strong opposition to shah’s statement, and now the BJP in the state seems to be scurrying to contain the damage done by the home minister’s statemen.
