Saturday Morning Adventures Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Issue 1 Comic Book Review TMNT


Welcome back to another comic book first impression review on Toned In Entertainment

Not too long ago I took a look at the GI Joe Saturday morning adventures and I did enjoy the 1 issue that I read. Now IDW is back with another classic cartoon franchise. Will this comic drum up those awesome nostalgic feelings or will you wish this comic was stuck down in the sewers never to see the light of day?

Let’s get one my comic book review for TMNT Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures Issue 1 called VR In Deep Trouble

With a super storm hovering over New York, there’s not much action going on for the turtle’s to worry about so it's time for some more training.

However instead of doing standar Master Splinter type of training, the turtles are going to try out a new Virtual Reality simulation that Donatello has concocted.

While the training starts off with something simple as the turtles needing to win a game of capture the flag, when the super storm shocks their system, our Heroes In A Half Shell will each find themselves in a different themed video game ranging from racing, to platforming to fighting.

Now not only will the turtles have to do their best Jimmy woods impersonation to win at these video games, but they’ll all have to deal with an all star cast of the baddest of the bad

And even though the turtles are the best at what they do, the deck is stacked heavily against them, and it’s going to take every trick in the book to make sure they don’t wind up as turtle soup.

On a scale of 1-10 I’m going to give Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Saturday Morning Adventures a 9 out of 10


The Issue written by Erik Burnham is an extremely fun one and combine that with the art by Tim Lattie and colors Sarah Mayer take me make to the day of rushing home from school in order to be sitting down in front of my tv before the theme song would hit so I could get my next dose of turtle power.
