Non-destructive testing of stress free temperature of rail.
Mark it out, unclip it for 30 or so metres, jack it up, place shims, lower rail, run test 3 times, jack up, remove shims, drop rail, clip up, remove gear from track.
A good crew could do both rails in 45 - 50 minutes.
