What does it take to create a real paradigm shift in the quality of our food? Collaboration, relationships, and a vision we can all share.
On Nov. 14, a group of more than 30 farmers, ranchers, entrepreneurs, and grassroots leaders met to discuss how to expand the capacity for local food in the U.S. In a region where more than 98% of the food is imported, millions of people are exposed to poor quality of food.
Yet, there is something we can do about it. We can start by building a coalition of organizations, companies, and food producers who are willing to work together to solve problems, reach new customers, and build new markets for farmers and ranchers, and that's just what we're doing with our partners at the Development of Regenerative Yields (DRY) Cooperative.
