Ep 6 Jibhi to Sainj Valley | Shangarh Meadows | Larji Dam | Himachal Pradesh Tourism

Shangarh is famous for its large meadows in Sainj valley, We travelled from Jibhi to Sainj valley which is a distance of 56 km, enroute we visited many beautiful river confluence and sightseeing locations.

Following are the details of the places visited by us, To enjoy continuity of series, its better if you see other episodes of Tirthan & Jibhi valley.

We stayed at Jibhi - on a double occupancy we paid Rs. 2450

For breakfast we had - Quinoa with Oyster Mushroom, Roasted Rajgira Seeds at Ran Swiss Cottage.

River confluence near Banjar - Pushpbhadra & Tirthan River confluence at 1 km distance from Banjar market.

Larji Dam - we saw confluence of Tirthan river and sainj river.

Confluence of Tirthan river with Beas river near Larji reservoir.

Shangarh Meadows, Sainj Valley - It is about 30 km from Larji Dam.

Temple of Devta in the meadows - It is believed that meadows is private property of the Devta of this region.

Rupi Raila Waterfall - This waterfall is around 12 km from shangarh meadows, not known to many. It is a kind of unexplored waterfall.

We proceeded towards chandigarh and enroute visited Aut tunnel.
If you are going to Manali then you need to go through Aut tunnel only.
