This tutorial shows how to send signal to the M/C, ( Mono Center ), output. This output can be used instead of, or in addition to, the Left and Right outputs.

There are multiple reasons to use this output. For instance, it sums both the left and right signals together which creates a mono version of the house mix. I also use to add an additional center cluster that I feed with vocals, horns, and solos in order to give them that 3-Dimensional, in your face presence. Perhaps you can create a separate mix to send to a recorder, a Green Room, and the like.
