Huge Pork Spine TOM YAM Noodles! "Unmatched Flavor" at Crazy Noodle in Nan (ก๋วยเตี้ยวไร้เทียมทาน)

To all TOM YAM Noodle Lovers out there - this is a restaurant worth traveling for, a meal worth the trip to Nan just to eat!

"Crazy Noodle" is the name you'll see on Google Maps (location info below), or "Kuay Teow Rai Tiem Taan" is how you would say it in Thai - I choose to translate this into English as "Noodles of Incomparable Flavor" (and Google Translate will give you 'Unmatched Noodles'). Both are quite true, and this noodle restaurant might be a reason to visit Nan all on its own!

They are indeed one of the best restaurants for 'Ba-Mee Tom Yam' in all of Nan, maybe even all of Thailand. I was blown away, and had no choice but to eat 3 bowls on my own. They are not small bowls either.

What to Order: The House Special here is worth your trip, but if you're still hungry (I can almost guarantee that you will be after you taste their Tom Yam soup broth!), then you can do what I did in this video - immediately order a second bowl of 'Look Chin Luak Luan' (Pork Balls only), of course going with the Tom Yam soup again, and finally get a third bowl of blanched vegetables ('Pak Luak'), in, yes you guessed it, more Tom Yam soup broth...

(All 4 types of Pork) with yellow Egg Noodles - 60 Baht
Pork Ribs w/Noodles - 50 Baht
Mince Pork w/Noodles - 40 Baht
Pork Balls only - 30 Baht

This meal deserves to be a video all on its own, in case you are following along with the full 'Local Tour of Nan' series though, this meal happens during day 4 of the 7 day trip.
