Painting Flames of War Tiger II - No Airbrushing! [How I Paint Things]

Описание к видео Painting Flames of War Tiger II - No Airbrushing! [How I Paint Things]

The Tiger II - properly the Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B - was known informally as the King Tiger by Allied crews, or Königstiger in German. At almost 70 tons under combat load it was a monster by any measure, and came with all the usual faults of heavy German armour designed and built late in the war - a mechanically unreliable fuel guzzler that would lead to more far more losses than enemy combat actions.

Still, when the Tiger II was actually in operation, it ruled the battlefield. Terrifically well-armoured it was nigh impenetrable to all but the heaviest Allied anti-tank weaponry, and the deadly 8.8cm KwK 43 gun in its turret would penetrate enemy vehicles at ranges past two kilometers!
