KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON, Martin Scorsese’s 1920s epic had Set Decorator Adam Willis and Production Designer Jack Fisk re-creating Fairfax OK, rebuilding derelict buildings to create the town, constructing & dressing over 50 locations. The décor/design team researched archives of all sorts in great depth to create visuals resembling a documentary based on true fact.
Regina Graves SDSA explores the process of creating the settings of this historical Osage tragedy, including remote locations & no sound stages, Willis shopping regionally, assistance from locals, and threats of wind and rain bringing an amazing authenticity to the film.
