Walking To The Southernmost Point Of WALES - But Where In Wales Is It?

Where exactly is the southernmost point of mainland Wales? Join me as I walk the Wales Coast Path from Limpert Bay to Rhoose in the Vale Of Glamorgan.

There are two contenders but it doesn’t really matter because I visit both.

At Limpert Bay I find the remains of some World War II anti-invasion defences which date back to the early part of World War II and formed part of Western Command's coastal defence system.

Breaksea point has 39 recorded shipwrecks on the Historic Wales website.

Not far from Breaksea Point are the remains of the Victorian Aberthaw Lime and Cement Works.

Finally, it’s along the Wales Coast Path to the end of the walk at Rhoose Point.
