1.Is Inner Line Permit mandatory to visit the festival? Yes, a Temporary Inner Line Permit (ILP) is mandatory for people outside Arunachal Pradesh.The temporary ILP will be issued at the pilgrim facilitation center on arrival at the following centers:
a)     At Dirak Check Gate in Namsai (it is 61 km from Tinsukia and it will take just 1 hour and 20 minutes.
b)     At Shantipur Check Gate in (Roing) Lower Dibang Valley District. The Kund is about 102 km from here and it will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes to reach the Kund Mela.
c)     At Digaru Check Gate and Medo Check Gate in Lohit District and the Kund is about 56 km from here.
Note: you can also apply IPL online and the link to ILP has been given in the description.
2.Is the registration mandatory to visit the Parshuram Kund Festival (Mela) 2024? No, but it is advised to get registered online beforehand to have a hassle-free holy dip. Because it is estimated that the crowd will be about more than 1.2 lakhs. For online registration, the official link has been given in the description.
3. What is the official date of Parshuram Kund Festival 2024?
The 2024 Parshuram Kund Festival will be held from 12th to 16th January 2024 on Makarsankrathi.
4. How to reach Parshuram Kund Festival 2024? There are basically three modes of transportation services to reach Parshuram Kund. They are by airway, by railway and Roadway.
a.) By airway: The routes are like this, Dibrugarh to Tezu, Guwahati to Tezu, and Imphal to Tezu. From Tezu, the Kund is about 41km, and private and public transport services are also available to go to Parshuram Kund from Tezu.
b) By Railway: There is no railway connectivity in this place of Arunachal Pradesh but the nearest railway station is Tinsukia, and from Tinsukia, the Parshuram Kund is about 159km and it will take about 3 hours and 55 minutes.
c) By Roadway:  you could start from Tinsukia via Mahadevpur, Namsai, and Chokham. Distance between Chokham to Parshuram Kund is just 49 km and it will take about 1 hour since the road is a bit narrow. Journey can be also performed from Guwahati to Namsai, Guwahati to Tezu, Itanagar to Tezu, or Roing to Tezu. Daily private and public buses such as APSTS (which is a governed-owned transport service) and Network Bus services are available.
