Making a Smooth Boom Bap Beat With Jazz Samples (MPC 2500 + JJOSXL)

I usually stay away from Rhodes-type of samples or anything that's really smooth because it's almost too easy to make a really good beat with a sample like that. However, this time I made an exception because something inside of me just couldn't resist.

There's 2 samples in this beat, and the main one is the keys which I chopped into a few pieces and pitched them down. The other sample is from another song that had some decent horns so I grabbed a little piece of that. After some mixing magic, I think it turned out to be pretty good. Make sure to stay tuned until the end for the final beat!
