Alcohol produced in an uncontrolled environment such as an open field or at home with low or zero safety standards that is intended for purposes of sale, without any authorization. Though health risks are associated with all kinds of alcohol, illicit liquors can be more hazardous than other kinds as it does not undergo a multiple distillation process, is often poorly regulated due to it mostly being bootleg alcohol.
Country made liquor is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from locally available cheap raw material such as sugar-cane, rice, palm, coconut and cheap grains, with alcohol content between 11.4-45.7% V/V5.
Indian Made Foreign Liquor, often abbreviated IMFL, is a term used to denote western-style hard liquors such as whisky, rum, vodka, etc., which are manufactured in India. It is used to differentiate them from indigenous recipes such as fenny, toddy, and arrack, which. are collectively called country liquor.
