Don't Play With The Gods Treasure Hunt Quest

At the elven ruin north of the ‘Byways’ fast travel marker and on the shore directly across the water to the west of Fyke Isle. This is above the exit point of the ruin we explored during the ‘Wandering in the Dark’ main quest.When you reach the location, you’ll find it guarded by a large group of 6-7 level 13 wraiths. Kill the lot of them of them before using Geralt’s Witcher Sense to find a dead body propped up on a rock by the stairs leading to the ruin. Loot the fellow’s body here for a note – Unsent Letter and the Key to a chest quest item. Looting these this will activate the side-quest ‘Don’t Play with the Gods’. Read the Unsent Letter in the Key Items section of the inventory. This will update the objectives. Reading the letter will have the unintended consequence of having a Nighwraith spawn atop the nearby ruin. Climb the stairs and dispatch it – remember to use your YRDEN sign to expose its physical form so that you can damage it.Once the area is clear, switch on Geralt’s Witcher Sense and look for the glowing red chest atop the ruins here – it can be found wedged behind a pair of barrels near the fallen stone pillar. Loot this for a runestone and some other goodies.This will also end the side-quest.
