British Couple Try Rasmalai (Sweet from India)

This week we decided to try an Indian sweet dessert called Rasmalai or Rossomalai in Bengali culture. The word 'Ras' means juice and 'malai' means cream. The name describes the sweetened milk patties in sweet creamy milk syrup. From scratch, they are usually made from milk, lemon juice, cornflour, water, sugar, cardamom, saffron, and pistachios.
