The Upskilling Grant for Aerospace and Medical Devices Industries is a one year (January – December 2024) one-off grant amounting RM30 million that is managed by CREST in partnership with Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA) and Association of Malaysian Medical Industries (AMMI). The Upskilling Grant aims to improve the skills of Malaysian workforce in the aerospace and medical devices industries through the following 4 programs:

1) Upskilling Grant for Industry Current Workforce
2) Train and Place Program
3) Grant to Upgrade Technical Capabilities of Educational Institutions
4) Finishing School Program

Finishing School Program is an early intervention initiative specifically designed to equip tertiary education institutions students with skills and knowledge related to the aerospace and medical devices industries. The program will be co-organised by CREST, AMMI and MAIA with the partnership companies and education institutions related to the aerospace and medical devices
industries.
