In todays video I will make an egg stand vertically on its tip. for this activity we need table salt and eggs.
First we will try to balance the egg without using salt. As you can see it falls down. Now we will put a pinch of salt on the table and try to balance it again. As you can see it stands upright.

Why does this happen ?
Table salt is made of small little cubes. By placing the egg on the salt, you give the egg something to lean against which is the salt grains.
This gives the egg’s center of gravity a larger base of support to rest over. The salt grains forms a sort of pedestal to hold up the egg. This wider base in the form of pedestal keeps the egg standing upright.
Even If I try to blow some salt below the egg, it still stands upright. Isnt it facinating. Do comment below.
