LINION - Room 335 (Official Music Video)

日漸嶄露頭角的台灣詞曲唱作人 LINION (林翰宇)即將於奇清唱片發行他的首張單曲 “Room 335” 。今年年僅 21歲的 LINION，自小便立定志向要成為創作歌手。他從 10歲開始接觸吉他彈唱並於國中開始學習演奏貝斯; 九零年代的 R&B、千禧年之後的 Neo-Soul都深刻影響了 LINION 的音樂基礎。2015年他隻身前往美國洛杉磯MI音樂學院 (Musician Institute) 攻讀貝斯演奏專業科 (Bass Performance program)，組成以 Neo-Soul曲風為根基的 SOME 樂團。2016年以貝斯演奏專業科傑出學生殊榮畢業。多虧了無遠弗屆的網路時代，2017年回台後不久，很快的被奇清唱片在 Soundcloud發掘並簽約了第一張專輯計畫。

“Room 335” 既是 LINION 首張個人專輯的前導單曲，也可以看作是一種極為私人的情感紀錄：曲名源自 LINION 與美國好友即興寫下這首曲子的房間號碼。前奏之前的流水環境音，率先勾勒出孤身一人於小船上荒島漂流的畫面。這個與外界隔離獨處一片孤寂的青年，用詩化卻淺白的歌詞訴說留學時期對所愛之人與故鄉的思念；副歌奇巧的引用了柳宗元的江雪，與行雲般的貝斯聲線、流水似的電鋼琴、中低音域的嗓音共冶一爐；種種的矛盾最終導向和諧。“Room 335” 讓聽眾理解溫柔可以是一種殘忍，當代同時也能夠很懷舊。

Up-and-coming Taiwanese R&B vocalist and songwriter LINION has unveiled his debut single, “Room 335” via Chiching Records.

At 21, singer/songwriter LINION has lived many lives within two short decades, documenting his journey through song along the way.

Born and raised in Taipei, he grew up on 90’s R&B and took in the Neo-Soul Era while listening to modern-day heroes like Daniel Caesar.

LINION showed a great interest in music from an early age, teaching himself to play the guitar from the age of ten. In 2015, he entered M.I (Musician Institute,LA), where he was majoring in Bass Performance program and forming his first band, "Some".

1 year after, he graduated as an outstanding student and flew back to Taiwan. Thanks to Soundcloud, LINION was discovered by Chiching Records and inked a deal by the end of 2017. In 2018, he released his debut single “Room 335” , the story of right now.

“Room 335” was the culmination of that serendipitous return to self. Hallmarks of LINION’s emerging style: a warm bass line, liquid electric piano chords, effortlessly catchy vocals and poetic lyrics about love lost.

LINION’s first full-length album will be available on Chiching Records this December.
