Liquore Strega (Herbal) Liqueur Review

The Whiskey Crusaders review Liquore Strega (Herbal) Liqueur which comes in at 80 proof. It is an Italian herbal liqueur made since 1860 at the S. A. Distilleria Liquore Strega in Benevento, Italy. Its yellow color comes from saffron. There are 70 herbs & spices that make it up and
has a royal warrant from the Italian King. Strega means witch so it is also called the witch liqueur in English.

A liqueur is an alcoholic drink made up of a distilled spirit and adding sugar, fruits, herbs or spices. They are often served neat, over, ice, in coffee, for dessert, but were originally medicines made by monks starting in the 13th century.
