You have to leave some treats out for Santa Paws! These candy canes will make the perfect treat!
Ingredients:
2/3 Cup Pumpkin Puree
1/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
2 Eggs
2 1/2 Cups Wheat Flour
Red and Green Food Coloring


1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
2. Line a cookie sheet with a non stick mat
3. In a large bowl mix pumpkin, peanut butter, and eggs.
4. Gradually add 2-1/2 cups of the flour
5. Remove the dough ball from the mixing bowl and knead.
6. Separate the dough into two equal sized balls.
7. Place a couple drops of food color and mix in.
8. Repeat with the remaining ball of dough
9. Using your hands and the counter top, roll the balls into a long skinny snake.
10.Now braid the two snakes together until twisted.
11.Make into a candy cane shape.
12. Place the candy cane onto the cookie sheet.
13. Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes
14. Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire cooling rack. Let cool completely.
