However by the time he bid adieu to his prime ministerial berth, the growth of the country was at a decade low as compared to when he began his tenure, leaving inflation at a lingering 10 percent and the rupee was breathing uneasily. It was only on 16 May, the historic day, when India chose its majority govt and the bulls were back with a bang. The spirits of everyone are running high this budget season.
