America's Oldest Operating Diesel Engine (+ Cab Ride)

Описание к видео America's Oldest Operating Diesel Engine (+ Cab Ride)

One of the perks of volunteering at the @PennsylvaniaTrolleyMuseum is getting hands-on learning experience of some unique pieces of equipment. One of these is Armco Steel B73, a rare 1930 Baldwin "Visibility Cab" switcher, the last of its kind and the oldest operating diesel in the US. With its Lima-Hamilton T69SA engine, B73 is most often used with the museum's interchange with the Ohio Central and as a backup generator for the streetcars. Come take a ride as we explore the sights and sounds of this rare critter.
