Why Panjshir Valley In Afghanistan Has Never Fallen & Remains Out Of Taliban 2.0’s Reach

The Panjshir Valley, in the Hindu Kush mountains north of Kabul, has long been the heart of military resistance in Afghanistan. The valley is becoming the centre of a gathering of “resistance” forces against Taliban rule. The resistance forces have so far managed to keep the Taliban out of the valley. The National Resistance Front led by Ahmad Massoud remains a challenge for the Taliban. To avoid a possible defeat, the Taliban is reportedly in talks with the resistance forces for a possible deal.
