How to Choose the Right Wick Size for Your Candles

It’s important to trim your wicks right before you light them so the black soot will not form around your candle glass. If you continue to light your candle with the black mushroom form, it can be highly dangerous and toxic to breathe in. Ideally, trim your wicks quarter inch right before you light them to avoid this issue as well as to keep it a 4 hour maximum burn time. Now you will have a clean burning candle.
