NESO Executive Council Meet Discusses Manipur Crisis, Demands Sealing of India-Bangladesh border

In a big development, the Northeast Students' Organization (NESO) has demanded immediate sealing of the India-Bangladesh border, to prevent influx of fundamentalists and infiltrators into the region.

NESO today convened an executive council meeting in Guwahati, hosted by the All Assam Students' Union. The meeting was attended by student organizations from most states of the region, and issues ranging from the situation in Bangladesh to Manipur were discussed.
