Alex Meixner & Aleksander "Sandi" Pacek Accordion Duet - Hobo Polka

Last week I posted a solo rendition of Hobo Polka on my Munda Diatonic Button Accordion. I was surprised when Millennium World Champion (2001) Steirsiche Button Accordion artist, Aleksander "Sandi" Pacek sent this duet version to me! We have never met in person, nor have we had the opportunity to do a full collaboration but, I'm sure that will be rectified as soon as we can!! Hope y'all enjoy this as much as I do...

Hobo Polka was composed by my father Al Meixner in the style of Slovenian button box great Ottavio Brajko. I’ve always enjoyed playing this finger buster and adding to my dad’s arrangement. Hope you enjoy the sound of the Munda button accordion on it!

Alex Meixner is one of the most dynamic accordionists on the scene today. Meixner has performed around the world, notably at American festivals like The National Folk Festival and Central Park SummerStage, as well as at uncountable community celebrations and accordion-centric events. He has worked with Jack Black on the Sundance-screened, Netflix movie "The Polka King", with Post Modern Jukebox, and as an on-screen spokesperson for Hormel Pepperoni.
