Reaction: Trump Assassination Attempt

What a weekend!!! A 20-year old attempted to assassinate former President Donald Trump. Are you serious!! And I have become totally speechless with how my generation and those after me have responded. We live in a world where entertainment has a higher priority than compassion and empathy. Don't believe me? Not less than six hours of the assassination attempt social media platforms were filled with post mocking and making light of the incident. We seem to be living in a world where social media has fostered apathy and stupidity.

Believers in Jesus Christ!!! Now more than ever God is calling us to be an example to the rest of the world. Christians read between the lines and understand that our fight is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. God has handed us on a silver platter a battleground primed for ministry. I propose we take a step back from the way the world does politics and focus on sharing the love of Christ.
