Hi, there my name is Mike Miguel and in this video tutorial, I’m going to show you how to save PDF versions of your documents using the PDF Converter app.

There are many advantages of saving your document as a PDF. For example, If you need to sign a legal document or a formal letter, adding your signature to these type files, once converted to PDF can be easy to do. Another reason could be to add notes, show a correction or share a thought right on the document if you are working on a joint project with someone else.

The PDF file format can also come in handy when sharing documents. It guarantees that anyone receiving the file will have no trouble opening the document by avoiding any incompatibility issues.

To start saving your documents to PDF lets go ahead and open PDF Converter. This app is by far one of the quickest and easiest ways to save a PDF version of your file on the iPad. The app allows you to save files like a Word document or an Excel spreadsheet, Photos from the camera roll, and Web Pages and Emails to PDF.

Save Web Pages To PDF:

To convert a web page all that we need to do is go to any web browser on iOS, like Safari or Chrome, go to the page, open the iOS Actions menu, and convert the web page using the Convert extension. Let me show you how.

Once on a web page, we need to open the Share Menu located on the upper right hand, and tap on the share extension "Convert to PDF."
After converting your web page, you have the option to rename the file and choose a location to save your newly converted PDF. Like to iCloud Drive or other cloud-based storage services like Dropbox and Google Drive.

Having these type of features makes PDF Converter and easy platform to manage all your PDF documents from.

Save Emails To PDF:

Now, with PDF Converter you also have the option to save your emails and convert pretty much any file that's attached to PDF.

So let's go over to iOS mail to show you how to do this.

To save this email to PDF you can either select the entire content or just certain parts. For this example:

I'll choose the entire file by "Selecting All" and then tap Copy, this will copy what we have selected to the Clipboard.
Once it's copied, go back to PDF Converter and go over to the Clipboard Tab to complete the process. Tap on "Convert" to save the file to PDF.

Save Attachments To PDF:

To save an attached document let's go back to iOS Mail to see what other file formats we can save to PDF.

Here in mail, I have this email that was sent with an attached Microsoft Excel file.

I'll Tap on the file to bring up the Action Menu and select the extension "Convert to PDF" just like we did before and let's see how PDF converter handles converting these type of files.

Now that the app has finished converting, we see that it had no problem processing this Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and saving it to PDF.

Save Photos To PDF:

To conclude this video tutorial I'm going to show you how to convert and save the photos in your Camera roll to PDF.

Start by going to the camera roll, and find an image.
Select a photo, open the Actions menu and
tap on the extension to make a PDF version of the photo.

And there you go you have now successfully made a PDF version of your photo.

As you can see using the actions menu and the extension to convert a file to PDF is really easy to do in iOS with PDF Converter.
