Background on who we are:

Mapulana are a lowveld ethnic group found in Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga near the Limpopo province. Our language is called Sepulana and it is considered a dilect of various South African languages.

Mapulana initiate their youth into womanhood and manhood and Koma(initiation) is held in winter every year.
