Actors and actresses star at the Dominion Theatre in London.



Full titles read: "And now Pathetone Weekly presents for the first item, a topical excerpt from a West End Theatre during the actual performance." - "A smile and a laugh from SILVER WINGS. - The Dominion Theatre, London."



Intertitle read: "Contrasts in love making Sadie (Emma Haig) meets a new stylist (Ross Fairfax) whilst Father (Arthur Finn) is surprised !"



Various shots of the comedy stage play underway. Sadie is heard telling her father that she will "..never flirt again!". Shortly afterwards a singing Spaniard in traditional dress bursts onto the stage confessing his undying love and chasing Sadie around the stage, to the despair of her father. M/S of the man picking up the overwhelmed girl and tossing and flinging her from side to side (the audience laughs). When he finally places her back on the ground she staggers and collapses on the ground in exhaustion !



Intertitle reads: "One the other hand, Harry Welchman and Desiree Ellinger have another style - "



L/S's of another Spanish gentlemen in leather waistcoat carrying whip loudly declaring his what he expects from his wife. He eventually kisses his wife dramatically before hoisting her over his shoulder and with a smack on her bottom declares that he has "... come home for his super !".



Intertitle reads: "Having landed in Mexico as an aeroplane stowaway, Lupino Lane is cross-examined by Emma Haig, Dennis Hoey, and Arthur Finn."



Various shots of the actor being interrogated by other theatre stars. Lupino Lane sits in a chair as he is interrogated and acts stupid. In one scene he answers every question with the same answer -



"I don't know!" to which Emma Haig eventually replies, "Gee, I which I could forget like that I'd sleep better!". After further questioning and muddled answers Lupino declares that he is in fact "Goldberg - the English equivalent of Lindbergh!" He then collapses on the floor and begins walking on his knees aided by Miss Haig.
