Описание к видео Exploring the Ruins of Fort Pearce and the Warner Valley Dinosaur Tracks

In the 1860s, the desert southeast of St. George, Utah was an important corridor for Navajo entering the area to raid Mormon settlers livestock. During Utah's Black Hawk War, a Mormon militia built Fort Pearce in order to counter the natives movement.

Utah's Black Hawk War is little remembered today but Fort Pearce is one of the lasting reminders of it.

in this video we explore the area around Fort Pearce then head a few miles away to check out the Warner Valley Dinosaur tracks to check out the area's Jurassic prehistory.
