Closure of Rafah border crossing risks life of child with cystic fibrosis

The mother of a girl from Gaza, Naya Mostafa Abu Obeid, describes the deteriorating condition of her daughter who suffers from cystic fibrosis and has been bedridden for 16 days, with her medication no longer available in the hospital.

Despite being issued a referral to be transferred for treatment, all border crossings have been closed since Israel’s invasion of Rafah. In a video filmed by Palestinian journalist Hassan Eslaih, Naya’s mother appeals for help to get her daughter the urgent treatment she needs.
