Carnival Sunrise Tour and Ship Walkthrough

A Carnival Sunrise ship tour and review from May 2019. Sunrise was formerly Carnival Triumph.

Initially launched in 1999, she underwent a $200 million renovation in Spring 2019, transforming her into Carnival Sunrise. Then, in February 2024, she entered a two-week dry dock for her general five-year check-up.

The ship received 115 new guest staterooms during the renovation, including two new captain suites. The theater was transformed into the Liquid Lounge. A new Limelight Lounge took the place of the former Oxford Bar.

Some new food places were added, including Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Chef's Table, Cucina del Capitano, Bonsai Sushi, Guy's Pig & Anchor BBQ Smokehouse, and Lucky Bowl Asian.

The Cloud 9 Spa and thermal suites and Cloud 9 Spa staterooms were also added.

This is the latest refurbished ship in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.
