TRIP REPORT | Avoiding Storms Over Alps! ツ | Geneva to Barcelona | EasyJet A320 Sharklets

EasyJet Trip Report flying from Geneva to Barcelona onboard one of the EasyJet A320 on a warm summer afternoon with lots of storm clouds over the Alps.

A comfortable and very beautiful flight from Geneva to Barcelona onboard the EasyJet A320. This flight was operated by EasyJet Europe, the European subsidiary of EasyJet (more info about that on the video).

During summer, the cumulus clouds type are very common in all Europe, specially over the Alps. The wind hitting the mountains makes the air to be lifted and starts to condensate, creating this vertical clouds. If the atmosphere conditions are enough inestable cumulonimbus clouds are formed. We saw one big one in this flight.

Also, the views of the Alps on this video were fantastic. The same I can say about the views of Marseille, when starting to fly over the Mediterranean. However, I would say that my favourite part was the approach to Barcelona rwy 25R, with some amazing views of the city from very low altitude.
