In 2004 a pole dancer was born…

She evolved from enjoying a fun hobby, to being an industry leading performer and coach. Along the way the circus world began to emulsify with her pole training and sure enough the challenge was too much to resist.

Endless training and dedication has lead to a passion for graceful, strong and sensual aerial performances.

Symone has performed on pole and other aerial disciplines in Hong Kong and other countries around the world for more than 10 years. A strong and athletic dancer, she manages to combine grace and fluidity with the powerful moves required by aerial arts. With talent and passion comes the responsibility of spreading the art around the world. Symone continues to strive for this as she is invited to different countries for judging competitions and teaching workshops. Spreading the love of the circus arts to the world!

She is a sought after teacher because she was the first X-Pole certified aerial instructor in Asia. Symone continues to happily fulfil that role to this day.

2009 was a challenging year for her as she decided to open her first aerial circus studio in Hong Kong and now dedicates her time training and teaching new moves on pole, hoop (Lyra), silks (fabrics), cube, static trapeze, chains and burlesque to any and all those willing to try.

Not all is serious in the world of Symone Dolai and Pole Paradise Studio, having participated in a Guinness Book of World Record official record event twice. First in 2007 when she was a dancer/manager in another studio. The second was her chance to break the record using her own studio as the medium of record-breaking fun! What was the record? 2014 Official Guinness World Record for the most pole dancers and pole studios dancing simultaneously/synchronised around the world!

Pole Paradise Studio was the first studio in the world to create an aerial combined tournament first starting locally in HK in 2010 then going internationally from 2011 to 2014. She has mentored other similar formatted competitions that have opened since then including the US Aerial Championships and Airstars in Taiwan.

Pole Paradise Studio was even nominated the 3rd most beautiful pole studio in the world.

*Symone is now the former owner of Pole Paradise Studio (PPS) and the creator of PPS’s Aerial Performance Tournament (the world’s first combines aerial competition) since Oct 2017 and now currently works as a freelance instructor in various studios around Hong Kong.
