How To Draw With Your Fountain Pen: Drawing The Head

In this video I'm going to demonstrate how to draw the head in pen and ink. While I often use a pencil underdrawing, here I'm going to show you the construction process I use when only drawing in pen, and then give a bunch of hopefully useful tips and tricks for rendering the head and facial features and hair.

I'm using an Opus 88 Picnic, fitted with a 14K Jowo nib with a semi-fix customization from FPnibs.com. it's fantastic pen and nib combination that I highly recommend. The ink is Monteverde Sepia.
