We test the top-spec 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid small SUV in today’s video, with Chasing Cars deputy editor Curt Dupriez revisiting the 2.0-litre Atmos.

The Toyota Corolla Cross is a new small-medium hybrid SUV from Toyota, producing 146kW of power with FWD or AWD. There is also a 2.0-litre petrol without the hybrid system that is FWD only and it’s cheaper.

Key rivals to the Corolla Cross are the Kia Seltos, Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Kona, Nissan Qashqai and other small SUVs.
