“Stava Chintamani” (स्तोत्र चिन्तामणिः) — composed by the great poet Bhatta Narayana, is a rare Sanskrit hymn that glorifies Lord Shiva as the infinite light of consciousness, beyond time and duality.

1. Glory to Lord Parameshwara — whose divine words enchant every heart, and whose radiant bliss illumines the world.
2. Victory to the unconquerable One, overflowing with compassion and supreme knowledge, shining with self-born brilliance.
3. Salutations to Shankara, ocean of nectar-like consciousness, pure and infinite, radiant as the moon and eternal as space.
4. O Lord of Ambika! Even though beyond thought, we still praise You — the One who sustains all with divine grace.
5. Salutations to Shambhu, embodiment of pure bliss, beyond sense and space, yet pervading the whole universe.
6. I bow to that Universal Form, undivided in the divided, eternal among the changing — the Supreme Reality itself.
7. Salutations to the steadfast One, beyond atom and cosmos alike — untouched by qualities yet origin of all.
8. I bow to the Divine Energy of the Supreme Swan, who fills the cosmos and is one with Parameshwara.
9. Salutations to the wielder of the trident, who creates the painted universe from the formless void.
10. O Hara! Lift us with Your knowledge — the pure milk of truth drawn from illusion’s ocean.
11. Though differences seem many, You alone remain the one essence; to You we offer our devotion and being.
12. May we behold Your radiant cave of the heart — free from ignorance, filled with the light of pure being.
13. Salutations to those souls who, even in dreams, see You — the moon-crowned Lord of infinite joy.
14. O Supreme Being, who would not wish to meditate upon You — the One who destroys the fear of rebirth?
15. O Lord of all worlds, may our minds remain absorbed in You, through Your boundless grace.
16. Salutations to the Eternal Tree of Knowledge — whose roots are the Vedas, whose fruits are infinite realization.
17. O Lord, may every word, deed, and thought be offered at Your feet — until only You remain in us.
18. Salutations to the trident-bearing Lord, who governs creation and destruction with effortless power.
19. Even meditating on Your sacred name, O Shambhu, surpasses all other paths to realization.
20. Blessed are those who chant “Om Namah Shivaya,” for they drink the nectar of divine bliss.
21. O Shiva, what is there without You? Which path leads beyond You? Which word does not speak of You?
22. May our devotion flow toward You like countless rivers merging into the sea of divine love.
23. Salutations again to Lord Sthanu, adorned with serpents as sacred threads, the eternal foundation of all.
