We are at it again!! The van is packed and we are headed offroad and into nature, where we are happiest, for another #4wdadventure. This time we head west from Sydney. and check out Newnes.
We had the best family adventure #camping at the Newnes cricket pitch campsite. Yes, before you ask, it actually has a cricket pitch.
With 4wd, 2wd camping options, and eco-cabins next to the old Newnes hotel site there are options for everyone.
If you've keen on a hike, the famous Glowworm tunnel walk starts from opposite the old hotel site. For a shorter hike, you can leave from the cricket pitch campsite to the abandoned oil shale mining site of the Wolgan Valley.
Newnes is located in the Central Tablelands region of New South Wales, Australia just a stone's throw from Sydney. #visitNSW
