I will provide a step-by-step guide on how to complete this process and highlight the benefits it brings. By using ChatGPT, I am able to get an idea of how well a candidate rates for a specific role and gather speaking points for further discussions. This video will help you understand the screening process and how to effectively use ChatGPT for candidate evaluation.

1. Preliminary Steps:
1.1 Ensure that you have access to Chat GPT, either through a web-based platform or an integrated application.
1.2 Prepare both the job description and the candidate's resume in digital format, either as text or accessible documents.

2. Input Preparation:
2.1 Begin by copying the entire job description.
2.2 Navigate to Chat GPT and paste the job description into the chat.
2.3 Ask Chat GPT to provide guidelines or criteria based on the job description for rating the resume. For example: "Provide criteria to rate a candidate based on this job description."
2.4 Take note of the criteria/guidelines provided by Chat GPT.

3. Resume Evaluation:
3.1 Copy the candidate's resume.
3.2 Navigate back to Chat GPT and paste the resume into the chat.
3.3 Using the criteria provided in step 2.4, ask Chat GPT to rate the candidate based on the guidelines. Example: "Rate this resume according to the guidelines produced."
3.4 Carefully read and understand the feedback provided by Chat GPT. This feedback will give you a score or rating based on how well the candidate's resume aligns with the job description.

4. Compilation of Results:
4.1 Create a document or spreadsheet to record the candidate's name, position applied for, and the score/rating.
4.2 Note any specific strengths or areas of concern highlighted by Chat GPT in the evaluation.
4.3 If evaluating multiple candidates for the same role, repeat steps 3.1 to 3.4 for each candidate and compile the results in the document/spreadsheet.

5. Decision Making:
5.1 Once all candidates are evaluated, compare their ratings.
5.2 Shortlist candidates that meet or exceed a predetermined threshold or who score highest among the pool of applicants.
5.3 If further deliberation is needed, you can present the findings to a team or superior for collaborative decision-making.

6. Continuous Improvement:
6.1 After a few evaluations, review the effectiveness of the SOP. Determine if the ratings provided by Chat GPT align with the needs and expectations of the company.
6.2 Periodically ask Chat GPT for updated or refined guidelines based on changing job roles or criteria to ensure relevance.

7. Safety and Confidentiality:
7.1 Always ensure that the personal details of candidates are treated with confidentiality.
7.2 Do not store personal information unnecessarily. If using an online platform for Chat GPT, avoid inputting extremely sensitive personal details.
