Ryan decided to come to the University of Iowa College of Public Health's Biostatistics masters program because of the supportive environment and the confidence the faculty showed in his abilities. Once at Iowa, Ryan really appreciated the opportunities for collaboration he experienced with his peers and faculty. He ended up staying for his PhD because the atmosphere continued to exceed his expectations.
Ryan is now an assistant professor of biostatistics at the University of Colorado.
