I BOUGHT A 360 CAMERA FOR MTB VIDEOS!

Hope you guys are good! So, for a while now I've been getting tired of using my GoPro. There's many reasons why, but the two more serious reasons are that the camera KEEPS freezing on longer runs. In the Alps, this is pretty useless as all the runs are 3mins + The second reason is that I really want to use a wider Field of View when filming my riding. (I will get into this in a bit more depth in a following video) So I decided to purchase an Insta 360 One R camera. This camera captures full 360 degree images which allow you to basically choose your own framing within a full sphere of video. So in todays video, we take my new 360 ONE R to The Forest of Dean to experiment!

As you will see, the resulting footage is actually really cool! I love how much better the wide FOV looks, and shows the action a lot more. However, I feel that sometimes I over-used this feature and went a little too wide. Practice makes perfect though!

I can't wait to experiment with this camera a lot more, and it will hopefully be a useful asset for the channel when we're in the alps! - More to come on this though!

In the next video I plan to take the camera to a bikepark to really test it out and see how the editing process goes. I touch on this lightly, but would like to discuss further I think!

Hope you guys are all well, I'm currently unable to ride my bike for the next two weeks as i'm having a wheelset built, so it's giving me time to edit alllllll the videos I have backlogged (hence the bad weather in this one) And I am off on some adventures very soon.
