Amber Rudd: May's deal was better than PM's

Sophy Ridge asks how many former Conservatives will support the deal.

There are "a few" who won't, Rudd predicts, but insists she thinks there is a "coalition" who will support it and adds: "I do think it will get through."

Asked whether she has apologised for the PM for saying when she resigned the Conservative whip that she thought he wasn't trying hard enough to get a deal, Rudd says no because he "surprised many of us by breaking a number of his red lines" - as evidenced by the DUP,

She adds there is "possibly" a route back into the Conservatives but she will put national interest above party.
