The Tank: Constellation Class

The Constellation Class Starship is one of the first new ones introduced in Star Trek The Next Generation in the form of Captain Picard's first command, the USS Stargazer. The Ship design is an old one from the late 23rd century and the first four nacelle vessel we see, pioneering the warp coasting technology and establishing a new look for some Federation starships going forward. But did you know it was made to combat Klingons?
